Nicole is a Lebanese-Canadian singer-songwriter from Gatineau, based in Montreal. After obtaining a diploma in pure and applied science, she moved to Montreal to study at École de Musique Vincent-d'Indy in Jazz Voice & Composition. There, she received the Aura Award of Excellence and the Pierre Lapointe & Christine Harkness scholarship. She then completed her degree at McGill University's Schulich School of Music in Jazz Voice Performance, studying with Ranee Lee.
Her award-winning music video ‘‘Upside Down’’ appeared on Stingray Music's ADISQ Chart, gained over 7M views on TikTok and won Best Music Video at the 2021 LA Sun Film Fest.
Her passion for musical theatre had her performing in many productions including Vivian in Legally Blonde: The Musical (in FR), The Narrator in Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, a 2018 Montreal English Theatre Award winner for Outstanding Community Production at the Segal Centre for Performing Arts, Little Shop of Horrors, Into The Woods, and Fiddler on the Roof. She has also performed at the 2018 Halifax Fringe Festival. Nicole is also the founder of Silantra, a live music entertainment agency bringing jazz music for business events, weddings and holiday celebrations.
Behind the music is a talented and introspective artist who draws on her emotions and experiences to tell stories through soulful pop music, inspired by the genres she was exposed to over the last decade.
She is currently working on her debut EP.
